OK so we are ending the 2nd of what I think is going to be another year of growth, change and what I think will be another exciting year. I started off the month by heading to Ft. Saskatchewan with my mom, sister, aunty's and cousins for another great scrapbooking weekend. We managed to snag an amazing deal at the Super 8 and have a great boardroom for all of us to scrap our buns off all weekend for $100.00. cheap eh. and of course laughing, drinking and just having a ball. My sister and I snuck away for part of the day on Saturday to visit with my friend who had a christian bookstore and wouldn't you know it (was closing out) so was having a marvelous sale. Lori and I ended up getting a few treasures and great fellowship with Carolyne and Darla. I applied for another job and had an interview but was not successful at getting the job and I think I'm ok with that as it was working under my boss that I had before he left for a new position at the end of January...so not sure but my motto is "if it's meant to be". I enjoyed Family Day with Amanda and Isabella down at the Legislature and Churchill square again this year. Isabella spent the entire time sleeping and Amanda and I wandered and enjoyed the beautiful day. Speaking of beautiful days...there hasn't been very many - this year (winter) has been the most snow, the coldest and what seems like the longest. I had to add the last part in. Let's hope it doesn't last too much longer as Feb is a short month and March always seems long so if the weather is still cold, oh my goodness people are going to get really cranky. I am making plans for weekend getaways in March and I'm so looking forward to that. I will fill you in on my travels of course in my next months blog. I want to be remembered as someone that was there. I mean available. I love to create memories with my grand child. I have read many posts recently about memories of loved ones that have now passed. I struggle with my memories, as I can't recall a lot of childhood memories with my grandparents, or cousins since I didn't spend a lot of time with them growing up. Both my parents relatives lived a distance away. I hear of others recall memories of their childhood and the time they spent with others with gratitude. When I think back on my past I have feelings of sadness and missed opportunities. I look at my grand daughter and hope that she remembers the trips we took, the time we laughed playing silly games, reading stories and knows that it was time well spent and worth remembering. January 2010

So here goes, it's 2010 and I have created a blog. I have wanted to blog for awhile but just wasn't sure on what I really wanted to say. My older sister has been blogging for awhile and always look forward to reading the latest happenings in her life. My reason for blogging is just to share some thoughts, or maybe remember my own thoughts of what is happening in my life throughout the year. December 2012

I know, I know, I'm posting and haven't posted since July. I don't know why. I do know why....I feeel like my blogs are the same...i have been so preoccupied with other things that I haven't taken the time as I should to dedicate to my blog. I apologize..this was really something that I wanted to keep up with at this stage of my life to keep me on track with the day to day things that were happening. I forget sometimes that life has a way of taking over and one day rolls into one week, one month, and so on. My plate really isn't that full, but my thoughts about other things that aren't important are taking over from what is really important. I'm hoping that 2013 will see me reflecting more on the "what's important to me". So since July let's see if I can't recall what has been happening in my "busy" life.
