2011 Jan

Well here I am once again blogging about what I have been up to. I need to start by saying WOW end of January of 2011. I thought 2010 zipped by I can only imagine how quickly this year will go by. January found everyone back to work after the holidays. I began a new course Face to Face Leadership for two days in the months of Jan to Apr so that will be enjoyable. I missed knit night this month as the weather has been extremely disheartening but predictable for January - bitterly cold. Tons of snow I guess they say that we haven't had this much snow since 1974. Missed my monthly dinner with my friend as well. I don't like missing seeing and doing fun things that bring a smile to my face. What does bring a smile to my face is seeing the wonderful changes in my grand daughter oh my goodness what a personality that little one has. Work has seen some change as well. My boss has moved on to greener pastures and will continue his career with another area. I applied for another job that may see me continue to work under him (that will be interesting). Gma and Gpa planned a family swim day and not all the family could attend - again weather and scheduling just didn't allow the Desrosier's being able to make it. We didn't spend as much time as I would have liked in the pool but we ended up going for lunch earlier than expected too so the day ended early and I managed to squeeze in a haircut on the way home which was great and well needed. I think that was all the excitement for January so onto Feb.

I want to be remembered as someone that was there. I mean available. I love to create memories with my grand child. I have read many posts recently about memories of loved ones that have now passed. I struggle with my memories, as I can't recall a lot of childhood memories with my grandparents, or cousins since I didn't spend a lot of time with them growing up. Both my parents relatives lived a distance away. I hear of others recall memories of their childhood and the time they spent with others with gratitude. When I think back on my past I have feelings of sadness and missed opportunities. I look at my grand daughter and hope that she remembers the trips we took, the time we laughed playing silly games, reading stories and knows that it was time well spent and worth remembering. January 2010

So here goes, it's 2010 and I have created a blog. I have wanted to blog for awhile but just wasn't sure on what I really wanted to say. My older sister has been blogging for awhile and always look forward to reading the latest happenings in her life. My reason for blogging is just to share some thoughts, or maybe remember my own thoughts of what is happening in my life throughout the year. December 2012

I know, I know, I'm posting and haven't posted since July. I don't know why. I do know why....I feeel like my blogs are the same...i have been so preoccupied with other things that I haven't taken the time as I should to dedicate to my blog. I apologize..this was really something that I wanted to keep up with at this stage of my life to keep me on track with the day to day things that were happening. I forget sometimes that life has a way of taking over and one day rolls into one week, one month, and so on. My plate really isn't that full, but my thoughts about other things that aren't important are taking over from what is really important. I'm hoping that 2013 will see me reflecting more on the "what's important to me". So since July let's see if I can't recall what has been happening in my "busy" life.
